Dire Straits | Brothers In Arms (40th Anniversary)
One of the world's best-selling albums, Dire Straits' "Brothers In Arms", celebrates its 40th anniversary with an exclusive deluxe edition.
The 5LP/3CD deluxe editions contain the entire studio album and a previously unreleased full-length live concert from the band's tour stop at the Municipal Auditorium, San Antonio in 1985. The "Live In 85 Tour" ran a total of 248 concerts in 117 cities and was seen by over two and a half million people.
The deluxe version is packaged with art inspired by Mark Knopfler's National Style 'O' Resonator Guitar, which appears on the cover of the studio album, and also includes a booklet with new liner notes, written by Paul Sexton, following new interviews with band members Mark Knopfler, John Illsley and Guy Fletcher. The album is also being reissued in 1LP format for the first time since its original release back in 1985.
