Exercises in present book concern the OUD instrument. These exercises are based on the basic chromatic scales of two adjacent strings.
All scales (transformed) are articulated (expressed) with their opposite.
The exercises are written to be performed on two adjacent strings of the instrument, on any strings pair. However, all exercises can be performed with the interference of one string, of two strings, or three strings.
The purpose and aim of this book are to provide sufficient material for exercising of the right hand with the pick, but also the acquisition of skillfulness of the left-hand fingers. The abundance of material excludes the element of tiredness and monotony caused by the constant repetition of one or few exercises.
The stroke of the pick can be done in different modes so that the right hand has a complete exercising. Thus, the following formula, can be executed in different modes.
