One hot summer day on the little farm, the Missus put out a dish of cool, clean water for the chickens to drink. The water began to warm in the hot summer sun. It got warmer...and warmer...and warmer...until it was hot. In flew a teeny, tiny beetle...and that was when the soup began to cook. The chickens were excited, but knew it took some time, to make a delicious, sluggy soup and have it taste divine. Count and repeat with Silkie Sunshine as the chickens make slug soup in their water dish and their water gets slimier and gooier with each passing page. But you'd better hurry... If the Misses discovers the gloopy, gooey stew, she will give it the dump!
