While in the Waiting room is a continual series that journals events throughout my lifetime. Beginning as a young girl growing up in the apple tree county of Carrollton, Michigan-even then, I was being groomed for my supporting role and partnership in the fellowship of God's call on my husband's ministerial walk. As a woman living in the modern world, we are often faced with putting our lives on hold while we assist others with theirs. My first role as a preacher's daughter, then wife-now mother and grandmother have shown me all too many times the unwavering selfishness that women have to endure as the lesser vessel. This book was created to represent the living testimony of my life, and to help other women as they are waiting on change and waiting on God.
