If you had asked me yesterday what I thought about extraterrestrials; or aliens; I would have laughed and told you that I believed in the possibility but that I didn't know if our galaxy would ever see them. If you asked me to describe them, I'd probably be pretty boring and go for the stereotypical bulbous head look with large black eyes that reflected everything, especially the fear in your eyes. But today I have learned the truth; that all my life... I have been the extraterrestrial hiding in plain sight on Earth. I have learned that while I look just like the humans that had previously surrounded me, the universe is filled with beings of all shapes and sizes. Most of them resemble creatures I've seen in movies; perhaps that's where the inspiration came from. I also discovered that my biological father, a man I've never met, is the Emperor of Xterra. And what, you ask is Xterra? It is a quadrant of the universe that encompasses ten galaxies, the smallest, newest, and most primitive of them is what I previously called the Milky Way Galaxy; where my homeworld, Earth spiraled. Here in Xterra, that galaxy is only referred to as a Neophyte Galaxy. And me, well behind my back they call me a Neophyte as well; but to my face, I am the Lady Empressa, heir to my father's throne.
