The Murphy Family move into their newly acquired Victorian two-story 5 bedroom house at Pearson Avenue, Somerville City, MA for what is considered to be a bargain price from a childless young couple who was not the original owner of the same, with the hope of having a new beginning, since Denise, the youngest child had a traumatic experience from their previous place in Stockbridge, that triggered her shyness. Little do they know that the spirits of kids Heidi and Andre, who died in said house stay behind to find justice to their parents who got killed in a premeditatedly planned car accident, whose graveyard is under the swing in the backyard. Denise discovered the mystery of the swing that the 6 meters perimeter of it is soundproof. No one could hear her screaming in fear even her family is nearby the area. Plus, there's this giant beast, a descendant of Giant Folklores that dwells in the Northern Red Oak Tree not far from the swing. The beast gets violent when hungry. He falls for Heidi the first time he saw her, which made him abduct her to be his wife. He wreaked havoc in the village when naughty kids stealthily found and agitated him to act wildly. Heidi and Andre are exhibiting all sorts of ghostly amazing skills: mimicking voice, walking through walls, dancing and making objects fly, glowing in the dark, reading tons of books with comprehension in a matter of seconds, go to school with Denise and communicate with human beings, but with all these strengths, Andre's weakness is Allie, Murphy's pet-- he's afraid of the puppy. As the ghost kids became friends with Denise, she became confident in herself. They conveyed their desire to avenge the death of their parents through her. Denise uncovered the truth in gathering pieces of evidence by locating the witnesses of the crime and things fall into place as she pursued her childhood dream to be a lawyer at Harvard Law School. Denise was an idealistic law student, she devoted her time helping clients with their pro bono cases in their legal clinic which include the claim of Heidi and Andre against the perpetrators of their parents. However, to Denise pursuing the case of the ghost kids would mean breaking her long-time friendship with her best friend Rylee, the daughter of the mastermind of the crime.
