Broken Churiyaan is a story about a girl who hails from a family of first generation cultural diversity. Her family was otherwise very traditionally Muslim from India. Until her dad broke the old ways and married an American woman. As a young child her mom left and she faced growing up with an insanely abusive father and as the only female in the house. Things remained that way until her father suddenly got remarried. Following a series of awful life lessons, Rani is ripped away from everything she knows and is dropped into a world that makes no sense to her. She was whisked away to Houston, Texas after spending her whole life in a small town in Oklahoma. Her only hopes of survival, was to adapt and overcome insurmountable odds that keep stacking against her.
