New York in the riveting Jazz Age. Damien Stein is a renowned artist and businessman in the City That Never Sleeps. Following a series of unfortunate events, Damien has become impervious to his own humanity, which has led him to a fatal fascination with death. As an artist, he has become obsessed with trying to capture it in his artworks. Weekend after weekend, he would throw art exhibits on par with the World's Fair. There he would meet women, seduce them, and slaughter them, before using their corpses for his artwork. But in a twist of fate he rediscovers his own morality, and the girl Damien had been in love with before his descent into madness returns. By then, however, it might be too late. As he struggles with his own demons, which invariably seek to manifest, he must attempt to deter his failing sanity and capture his ever elusive love: his masterwork. What's more is that his closest friend, Edwick Santagar, is a detective who seeks to bring him along on the journey to discover the identity of the serial killer-the serial killer being Damien himself.
