The book Baked in the Secret Place is an expository study of Psalm 91. It was born out of necessity during the season of turmoil in the history of mankind, when there was pandemic that shook the world- COVID-19. Nations that had all the technological know-how and were the experts in research shut down completely and most popular world-renowned cities became deserted and most are still deserted. Shortly before this great humbling event started there has been such derogatory remarks from those advanced countries that Africans especially Nigerians spent too much time praying and seeking God's attention for virtually every need of theirs rather than asking God to give them the wherewithal to change their society. Hence, their predictions when their man-made pandemic was coming was that the entire African Continent was going to be wiped out so they can partition afresh and recolonize Africa. However, God checkmated their evil plans. Even though there are casualties in Africa too but not in the magnitude predicted. When any people forsake God horrible things always happen to them. Baked in the Secret Place of the Almighty is written to encourage believers in the living God, to draw close to Him in such times so as to get secured in His unfailing love, protection and preservation. When going through challenges that you find difficult to share with others, then your best help can come from the relationship you have built with the Holy Spirit in the Secret Place. Only God knows us and truly looks out for us and He alone can take us out of turbulence, turmoil, and pains.
