Evan and Shannon met at the University of Washington in Seattle one wintry day. Twelve years and thirteen of Shannon's birthdays later, she has inspired quite a lot of poetry. Here is (almost) all of it. Over 100 poems of love, longing, life together building a family, and the pursuit of The Unattainable Dream. "She has counted every object of every objection - all the demarcations of diligent doubt. She will tell you herself she has not figured it all out. But through the dark glass, looking in there are fingerprints in the dust and she... she can point them out."
