When I first met Karynna she was just a little girl, barely fifteen and I was a grown man, ten years older. I should have been able to control myself, I forced myself to stay away and I did. For eight years I stayed away, never going back to that city but when she moved to my town and she needed my help again I couldn't stop myself. I had to have her. After a horrible couple of years at university I walked away with my degree and a slightly healed yet still broken heart. I needed a new scene, I needed a break and moving to work with the War Angels was just the change I needed. Falling in love with Van again certainly wasn't something I had planned but I wasn't about to turn him away.
