In this brief writing by Don, it is obvious that after 57 years in fulltime ministry in different nations - with all the experience that comes with it - the reader can expect him to touch on the most relevant and foundational truth needed for the time we're living in. And this is exactly what the reader will find in this writing! It is not by accident either, that this writing comes after (and in the midst of) the greatest shakings of all church structures in all church history. We know that when Jesus the Messiah came into this world as the Incarnate Word, He was the exact representation of the Father; He put God the Father on display - made Him visible - in this world. The fullness of the deity dwelt in Him. Then, towards the end of His earthly ministry, Jesus told His disciples: "As the Father sent Me, so I am sending you into this world". This was (and still is) the commissioning to every disciple of Jesus even in our time. The question: Has the 5-fold ministries equipped and enabled the saints for their work of ministry, which was to give definition to the visible Body of Christ? Unfortunately, the answer is "No!" Instead, multiple networks have formed - which, in many cases became exclusive and divisive. This - in the words of Don - is tragic! How and when will the world believe that Christ was sent? What will be the most powerful message of the Body of Christ to the world? When they see true ONENESS, the interpenetration of God and man. This was - and is - the prayer of Jesus in John 17:21. True ONENESS will make God visible!
