Diamond is an 12-year-old girl who learns valuable lessons in life and friendships. This story highlights the differences in girls' relationships with one another and the way that outside noise can harm their relationships. She's known Imelda and Cora most of her life and thought they would be friends forever. Soon, their friendships will be tested. Her relationship with Justin falls apart, too from outside noise interference. With their friendships on the line, these teens are too immature to fix it and Diamond seeks guidance from her mother and grandmother. They educate her on how some people may come into your life for a short season. Diamond struggles as she has to make painful decisions on letting some friendships go.
