The Experience is the latest collection from Los Angeles area poet, Chris Aguilar. This first volume of work in ten years covers a wide span of life and as the author states is about "the destructive force of love giving way to new views and ideas". Covering topics such as mid life, heart break, re-parenting oneself.. Chris's poetry is as fellow poet Humerto Gomez called "a poet that writes deeply, from within". In his 20's Mr. Aguilar was an award winning writer and headlining spoken word and reader featured at many venues across Southern California. Now 20 years later, the creative flame is once again lit with new work examining life as we know it.
