Noah's ark story can teach human beings many important and life altering lessons. The story of the great flood - found in Genesis 6-9 - explains that the catastrophe was brought about my mankind's wickedness and violence. Noah's life reveals to us that we can never go wrong when we listen to God. It also teaches us something important about obedience. If we do not follow the ways of the Evil, and remain steadfast in our faith towards God, he takes note of it and saves us in wonderful ways. Yet Noah is described as being righteous, blameless and faithful. Noah walked faithfully with God. This is a lesson to us all - the idea that it is possible to walk with God even when everything around us seems to be crumbling.
