Stone Williams, a man looking for second chances in world that doesn't want him to exist. Being released from prison looking for new beginnings, Stone begins living a life of the working class only to have a past that won't let him go. All while dealing with a system that has him pegged as the enemy. Only to fall in love with Persephone who comes with a past Stone will have to reckon with in order to keep him and his children safe. The story reflects the trials and tribulations of what some families deal with when rebuilding their lives out of systemic oppression.
