This is the true story of Frank & Johanna McCormack who met in Dublin. It is set during the Irish 1916 fight for independence, and later in The Irish Civil War in the early 1920's. This is about a man's undocumented fight for his country, and how he fell in love with a young girl from the Irish countryside living in Dublin. The tale documents their wish for their country's freedom, and their desire to simply marry, settle down and have a family together. It is s a story of war, tragedy, and the determination of an ordinary working-class man and woman.
