This book is about two young boys name Jake, and Sam. Jake didn't believe in stupid little tales as he called them, but soon he will find out that the story about the house on the corner is not such a scary tale after all. He finds himself in a situation that he feel he just can't get out of. Sam is Jake's best friend and notice that Jake has started to act weird after some of the neighbors found him laying on the old house porch. Sam had to find out what was happening to his friend and soon will make a devastating discovery.
