Nick is a mixed martial arts fighter who wants to make a difference in people lives through his MMA gym in New York. He has been in a couple of relationships with mostly dependent woman who suffered some kind of domestic violence in their past. His past relationships didn't last as the women always wanted him to choose them ahead of the octagon. That was something he just could never do. Nick lives for the octagon, that is until Nira enters his life. Nira is independent and damaged, she has an abusive past and is hoping that Nick's presence can help her deal with the debilitating panic attacks that she still has. Her abusive ex-husband threatens them and Nick decides to take matters in to his own hands and to fight a covenant fight where the winner takes it all. Will Nira understand the depths of Nick's love and commitment to her or will she leave the covenant fight for Nick to fight alone.
