Poems written in the Summer of 2020 as response to the corrosive nature of the Trump presidency. The work hopes to address the fundamental disparity between America's ideals and Trump's self-centered authoritarianism in both serious and comedic way. Topics move from his dismissal of America heroes like John McCain and John Lewis to his celebration of his own questionable intellect. Trump's own words form the meat of many of the poems, re-contextualized to highlight their absurdity.
