Growing up I found history and scripture boring for a lot of the same reasons. I was never excited to read. As I got older I learned if I read stories that excited me I was more engaged. This book is a collection of stories that excited me from the Bible and history. They were originally written to pay it forward and give my younger brother something to be excited about.
