This book was inspired by the dichotomy of listening to what some people say and what I observed myself. Two people who share their lives are beset by life's foibles just as everyone else is. Sexual orientation is only one thing that characterizes their relationship just as religious preference may be another. They get tickets for driving too fast whether they had the opportunity to graduate from college or earned their GED. Some people bear children. Some are doctors or lawyers. Some run a maintenance business while others work as counselors. Today there is no "norm" that includes everyone. The 'societal' norm is constantly changing and evolving. The extreme diversity of human existence is the norm. This story just shows one example of how love developed among ordinary people and their families.
