Written as the first chapter book for kids in grade school, Marlee takes kids on her adventure as a Caribbean Hawk Bill Sea Turtle that lives in paradise. Paradise is soon torn apart by natural and man-made disasters that separate her entire family and carries them 1,000 miles away. Kids learn about Hurricanes, Waterspouts, ships and shipping channels, bilges, sailboats, red tide and so much more while Marlee navigates her way back to her family with her new friend Tiger the Tiger Shrimp.
