One Star Cigarette Morgan Nicole

It started out talking on my best friend's bedroom floor, trying to figure out the right time when you're supposed to say "I love you" when you're in a new relationship. We were laughing about our old relationships, and how she was told she was loved in a cheap, one star motel that smelled like cigarettes. And I laughed, and came up with the title. Later that day I was driving and thinking of all the times I had said "I love you," and all the times it had been said back to me. I thought of all the poems I had locked away, and finally, I decided that it was time they were released. Here are all the thoughts I've had on love when I've been either in or out of a relationship.
