This is a book for chess players who want to improve their chess skills/rating. This book has more than sixty problems that help the reader raise his/her tactical abilities. Most of the patterns/concepts are very likely to come up in your games. Some of the problems are easy (marked "amateur") and some are hard (marked "intermediate"). One can assess one's level of tactical ability by attempting to solve these problems. Doing the problems again and again will help the reader remember the underlying concepts. Problems are presented in chess diagrams with instruction below each diagram. Answers with explanations are given at the end of the book.
