The 2020 school year is about to kick off and things are looking uncertain and uncomfortable. Written by a teacher, this picture book aims to teach young children about the changes they will see in their schools and classrooms this year due to Covid-19 and why it is important to follow all the new guidelines and rules. Mariel Duffy is a teacher and author from Atlantic Beach, Fl. She has worked in education for ten years and currently teaches art to elementary and middle grades. Mariel has her B. A. in Cultural Anthropology and Multimedia from Bryn Mawr College and her M. Ed. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Chestnut Hill College with background in Montessori and Waldorf practices.
