"I sensed that something was wrong but also knew that there was no point in pushing the issue" Aimee Brooks is a seventh-grader whose family moves around quite a bit because of their expatriate status. She currently attends Pinecork Middle School. She has everything she wants in life: an amazing family, a fun dog, cool teachers, and great friends but soon, one of those things could possibly change. On her journey to growth, Aimee will discover what true friendship really means and if friendships blossom under pressure, or wither away like flowers without sunlight. The author of this book is a 13 year old, first time author who is hoping to inspire many other kids her age to write. She has written lots of other poems and non-fiction works in the past, however, this is the first one that will be published and she is certain that it will be the first of many. Write on kids!
