Dying To Live was written in response to the author being asked for a book that addressed both the dying process in a spiritual way and gave an understanding of the afterlife. Although Colette Brown's voice narrates and explains, she enlisted her social media community to share precious stories which lend the book a breadth of experience and diversity. She gives us an understanding of the soul journeys that include Near-Death experiences, miscarriage, IVF, suicide, the loss of a child, pet death and many more. Then she layers this information with stories provided by those left behind. These wonderful stories are sometimes heartbreaking but are mainly inspirational and uplifting. There are also messages from the spirit world about the death experience and the afterlife itself. Helpful chapters on societal taboos about death, managing grief, and how to prepare for a good death, add an interesting dimension for the reader. The author writes with a compassionate and authoritative voice in a conversational style that reflects her many years as a successful professional medium and clairvoyant. Colette Brown is a retired clairvoyant medium who lives in rural Scotland with her husband and dogs. She has recently become a proud grandmother to Alexander, to whom the book is dedicated. Colette was a pharmacist for many years before following her dream being a clairvoyant consultant for individuals and businesses. She had her first book published in 2011 at fifty years of age.
