When the United States fell to civil war, a new country rose in its place: Silvarisk. The nation was sectioned off into 15 areas and the people separated by factions. As time went on, questionable acts by the government went unnoticed until it was too late. In 2217, a high school senior, Sylvia, has been investigating strange disappearances she knows the government is behind. WIth the help of her friends, she's been investigating these disappearances for a year. What she never thought, though, is that her own friends could be next. When she receives journals her biological mother wrote documenting an experiment to create super soldiers, Sylvia begins to realize what is really going on. After discovering they all have powers, Sylvia and the group plan to run away, but don't escape without loss; her best friend stayed behind and was taken, letting the others get away. They must find out where he is and find him, or lose him forever.
