Ms Marites Ritumalta has been indefatigable in her contributions to the global poetic arena. Her Facebook group, 'Poetry Planet', hosts thousands of talented poets and Poetesses across the globe. She had nurtured many and has encouraged countless others to come out of their poetic closets and let the world enjoy their poetic abilities. Yours sincerely is among the many that she had helped to lay a foundation for his writing journey. To this, we all are wholly grateful. This anthology will go a long way to establish the belief that a mother is the main captain of the family ship, albeit she is usually relegated to the background in many climes. Yet, the power and spirit of the mother cannot be overemphasized. A mother is a dogged colossus and it takes great wisdom to appreciate her as such. Mother indeed is sweet.
