Anything I Wish For? Janet Lisa Davies

Daisy goes from being an ordinary girl to one with magical powers. She looked in her book about horses and said she wished she had a horse like that and was shocked when a horse turned up in her bedroom. Her magical powers are very useful for giving her family gifts they need, and finding something very useful and smelly to drop on burglars, that sends them on their way.
