I wrote this book in response to the racial unrest that has been taking place in the United States of America and in the voice of my son Julius. For decades, African Americans have be enslaved, under paid, marginalized, stereotyped, made fun of for the color of their skin, red-lined, called lazy, dumb, monkeys, wild, and have their lives snuffed out of them for senseless reasons. I wanted to share with my community my experience of living with a black man who is a role model, a provider, a hard worker, confident, and determined to make my life matter. I am proud to be the son of this black man, Anton Deville Dormer who each day strives to make a contribution to his community in a lasting powerful way. I LOVE YOU DAD! YOU MAKE MY LIFE MATTER!
