What makes a true Christian? How can a person know if they are a true Christian? As a new Christian forty-years ago, I wondered if I was a true Christian. Did my acceptance of Jesus and the gospel message take? Or was I still the same person I was before? I am certain these questions and others like them have gone through the minds of others before me and after me. The Bible and the Spirit of YaHavah have revealed the heart of the matter to me and it has to do with repentance from the heart, symbolized by washing in water, and circumcision of the heart, accomplished by the anointing in the Spirit of YaHavah, both of which are the heart of what makes a true Christian. To understand what makes a true Christian and to quell any festering doubt, it is enormously important and even urgent to understand what the Bible teaches about baptism. Two thousand years ago, during the seventy years after Jesus ascended into heaven, some believers got things a bit mixed up about what Jesus taught concerning baptism. Some even got things mixed up while Jesus was still with them. The purpose of this book is to investigate all of the evidence in the Bible in the hope of setting things straight.
