Whether it is by what they say, sing, or write; by what they paint or photograph or animate; by whatever they act out, film, or edit... what they create is a reflection of the world in a way that GETS OUR ATTENTION, and makes us look at reality in a way we didn't look at it before, from a variety of perspectives in the hope of informing others of what is around them. We are mirrors. We poets, we painters, we photographers, we actors, we are all mirrors for society. Maybe today in the 21st Century, I should say we are digital monitors.
