To easily solve Samurai sudoku, consider solving the puzzle as a whole and use the symmetry rule for the opposite areas. Use clues from one 9x9 grid to solve the other grids. Diagonal Samurai Sudoku X has five overlapping 9x9 grid. Each row, column and 3x3 block (surrounded by bold lines) contains all numbers from 1 to 9 (no number is repeated in any row or column or block or diagonal line). Antidiagonal Samurai Sudoku has an extra step to make solving the puzzles a little fun. Where the diagonal lines should only have at most three different numbers. Repeated numbers are okay in the diagonal line, that is why it's called anti-diagonal. Other sudoku rules as no repetition in the blocks, rows and columns should be followed.
Jigsaw Samurai Sudoku has five overlapping 9x9 grid. The square 3x3 regions or blocks are no longer square, instead, the 9 cells form irregular twisted shape, which still has to be filled with the numbers 1 to 9 with no repetition.
