I have encountered people from all walks of life who have journeyed near or far from the place they called home. Because this was a milestone in their life for them it became natural to enter conversations about home. Often after a continued rapport developed there would be bits and pieces of that person's home life that this person was struggling with. What I found amazing was that when some of these people exposed the conditions of their present circumstances, it seemed that they were going through a revolving door. Astonishingly, their past had also become their present situation. Some were so ingrained with the conditions they were subjected to that they were okay with the status quo. Still others realized that somewhere somehow there had to be a better existence.
