Digital transformation and Industry 4.0 are current concepts that are essential to understand new ways of working and even a way of life. Digital transformation shares most of the new technologies in Industry 4.0 or also called the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This book aims to explain and develop all the project management methodologies that are applied in digital transformation in fields such as telecommunications, computing, industry or construction. In the first part of the book, an introduction is made of all the technologies that are applied in digital transformation and a summary of all project management methodologies is made. The technologies include industrial robotics, the internet of things, artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain or cybersecurity. In the second part of the book, project management techniques are developed that come from mechanical engineering, industrial organization, telecommunications, computer science, or civil engineering. These techniques include the Scrum, Agile, ITIL, PRINCE2, BIM, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Finally, in the third part of the book, a series of tools from business administration are presented to give a global approach to the management of companies in the present and the future. The book collects all the emerging technologies from the different fields of engineering and management so that the reader has a complete vision of how they should adapt to the digital transformation of the industry without being left behind.
