"It was truly an amazing surprise from my worship team mem-bers!"Today is my eighteen-th birthday, and it started in the best way possi-ble! At the end of the 11:00 contem-porary service that my friends/ band mem-bers lead each Sunday, Pastor Rick made an announ-cement that today was my eighteen-th birthday. Mo-ments later, balloons were floating down from the ceiling, and every-one was singing happy birthday to me!It was truly an awe-some moment!Moving on, let me tell you a little about what is going to happen tonight! For my birthday this year, I did not want a big party, like Dad had offered. Instead, I had wanted a birthday dinner at home with him, my longtime boy-friend, Jimmy, and our lifelong best friends, Thomas and Livi!Thank-fully, Dad agreed to it!As Dad and I pulled into the drive-way, I could not help but smile and feel excited! After all, tonight was going to be awe-some!
