Evie is the only daughter of the Andersons. Her parents are well known A list celebrities. Evie is spoilt and as an only child is cherished by her parents and often gets what she wants. Evie is used to getting her on way that when Alex comes her way Evie is taken by surprise and sees him as a rival. However, after experiencing an epiphanic moment that nearly cost her life, fate smiles on her as she and Alex form a bond becoming friends and much more. Over the years their relationship develops and matures as they become lovers. Alex comes from a background much different from Evie, living with a single mother and living in impoverished conditions, surviving paycheck to paycheck.
