Life for half-alien child Joon was fairly simple. She lived happily with her mercenary Relqen father. When her father disappears she makes a vow to find him and the obsession spins her into a dark world of guns, violence and alcohol. With the help of her best friend, Ta'avi, she learns to navigate the world as an orphaned child with nobody to take her in. As Joon scours the mega city of Kurai Michi with one goal, her only friend Ta'avi provides her with unconditional love and support as he battles his own feelings for the bar brawling mercenary. Then one day, after she gets abandoned a second time, a message is found on her coffee table after a break in. The message seems to point in the direction of her father whereabouts.
