This is an attempt to put together the exciting subjects of Einstein's theory of relativity, both Special and General, and the connected subject of Cosmology in common man's terms. Mathematics is altogether avoided and the concepts are explained in an easy-to- follow fashion. It is hoped that this work put together in a succinct manner will serve to satisfy the needs of ordinary people whose curiosity had been lately aroused by the news in 2016 of the first-ever detection of the gravitational waves, a hundred year old prediction of the general theory.
