Christy was kidnapped by the Dark Masters and imprisoned in the Fairy World. Locked in a dilapidated castle on a blighted landscape, in the middle of what seemed like nowhere, she is feeling frightened and alone. Forced to exist on meager rations in a filthy empty room, she must endure the overwhelming uncertainty that is now her life. Who are these "Dark Masters" and why don't they show themselves? What horrible purposes did they want her for? Why will no one tell her anything? And most importantly, will she ever see her friends again? They would want to help her, but she knew in her heart that it was an impossible task. They would never be able to find and rescue her. She was doomed.
