When a dead body turns up in Allsworthy churchyard averybody, including Lizzie Pickles, her brother Oliver and their friend Tom White, wants to know 'whodunnit'. But Oliver's embarrassing behaviour makes tackling the murder mystery difficult for the young detectives. As the children are led deeper and deeper into danger, in their hunt for the killer, they learn that not everyone can be trusted, and discover far more surprises than they ever expected. Will Lizzie, Oliver and Tom spot the clues and crack the case or will they perish horribly in the attempt?
