THE MASTER'S PLAN REVEALED THROUGH THE OLD TESTAMENT... My folks came to faith in Jesus when I was three or four years old. So, they didn't have the privilege of growing up in Sunday School and learning about the people of the Old Testament. They didn't realize Jesus was present at Creation...that He in fact was the Creator as we are told in the Book of Hebrews. And that Jesus is mentioned in almost every book of the Bible...not only by the name of Jesus, but many, many other names. That's why it is so urgent to teach our children that Jesus didn't just appear out of nowhere in Bethlehem's manger. The Father, Son, and Spirit have been together since the beginning. It's urgent for our children, as well as ourselves, to understand who our Lord Jesus is, why He stepped down from His throne in heaven, to pay the price for our salvation. To know so you and your children won't be deceived by the lies that have circulated since the beginning. Book Two of this series begins in Genesis and tells the stories of some of the Old Testament prophets, kings, and courageous women of that Old Testament era. Remember you are building a foundation of faith in the life of your child...and perhaps in your own life as well. A firm foundation that will hold you unshakeable 'til Jesus comes!
