This book of over one hundred short poems is dedicated to a variety of flowers and plants from around the world. Written in different forms of poetic verse with a unique drawing, or water colour illustration for each poem. Some are exotic, some are weeds, and many of them will be familiar. I have included some unusual blooms to showcase the diversity of flowers. These are not just pretty, they improve our quality of life with their scent, their display, and they have the power to reduce stress, inspire and lessen our anxieties. Without flowers the world would be a duller place. The inspiration for this book came from the wonderful flowers that grow all over the world and their particular attributes, their joy and the fascination they bring with their vibrant colours, unique perfume and healing properties.
