Julia Davis shares her life with her rabbit Carrot. They live together in a small apartment, and their building is monitored by the world's oldest alarm system: Julia's old neighbor, Mrs. Lemonsky. Her best friends are Teresa, who fell into the pot of personal development when she was a child, and Evy, whose world revolves around her belly button. For the past seven years, Julia has worked at Stevenson Communication, a company where she has tolerated the inappropriate gestures of her boss, Willis, for too long.
