The story you are holding is inspired by the TRUE antics and adventures of one very special pup!Remington is a seven-year-old Lurcher, who was found as a stray in the country of Wales. He was rescued and taken to Dogs Trust in Salisbury, England. For three weeks, he stayed in the kennels while his scars and scratches healed, and he waited for a loving family to adopt him. Soon enough, Taylor Toon, the author of this book, and her husband, Harry, were in search of a dog to adopt and take back to the first home they shared together. After meeting Remington and seeing his bright blue eyes, they fell in love and brought him to his forever home on February 14, 2018. Since then, Remington has been on many adventures: rock climbing and wild camping in Dorset, hiking and swimming on the coast of Newquay, climbing the snowy peaks of Sheffield, visiting Stonehenge in Salisbury, and sniffing his way around the rest of the United Kingdom. Remington now shares his home with his new brother, a four-year-old Lurcher named Dash, who was rescued after being given up by his two previous families. Together, they run, play, and sometimes even fight like real brothers do.
