Marriage in the Church and in society has become less than happy in the 21st century. For the Church, especially, we seem to need a new outlook and guide for an institution that is both sacred and worldly that will withstand the test of time and social mores. As a minister, I have occasion to officiate and counsel couples who are making plans to share their lives. I take my role in a couple's marriage seriously, so before I ask God to bless the union I insist the couple not only be committed Christians but attend up to 6 counseling sessions. Now, with this book, I will be requiring the couples read and be prepared to discuss it in counseling. The Bible has much to say about the subject; this text covers the Biblical and practical information in order for the couples to have the best possible grounding for their sacred and joyous.
