Kangaroo is a novel written by D. H. Lawrence in 1923. This novel is set in Australia. Kangaroo is D. H. Lawrence's eighth novel. He wrote the first draft of this novel in just forty-five days while living south of Sydney, in 1922, and revised it three months later in New Mexico. Kangaroo is an account of a visit to New South Wales by an English writer named Richard Lovat Somers and his German wife Harriet in the early 1920s.
