In this Disordered Fairytale book of Haikus, the author captures moments overwhelmed by mental health issues - from depressed ideas, anxious tendencies, and impulsive thoughts of self harm and suicide. Using the basic 5-7-5 syllable haiku form, each haiku was carefully constructed to exhibit a strong emotion that individuals struggling with mental health issues, grieving a death or simply trying to deal with the harsh realities of this world will relate to.
